Blue is praised for its unique ability to help better manage stress as it brings about a strong sense of peacefulness. While some users are perfectly content to become one with their couch, some users might feel a bit restless and want some outdoor fun to further enhance their high. Some Precautionary Advice
First and foremost, be responsible when you’re high. There’s a reason why manufacturer’s sternly caution against operating machinery and vehicles while high. Not only is it dangerous, it’s illegal. Your judgment becomes more impaired as time feels like it’s slowing down while simultaneously watching moving objects whiz by. Don’t jeopardize the safety of yourself and others by getting behind the wheel. There are plenty of other enjoyable activities to indulge in while getting high that are not only safe but quite enjoyable! Some require a bit more energy than others (as you’ll see shortly) but don’t pressure yourself to complete them if you don’t feel up for it. Pace yourself, enjoy the fresh air complimented by green and blue scenery, and allow yourself to become one with whatever fascinating adventure you find yourself in. Let’s take a look at some of the most enjoyable things to do while high!
1. Embark On A Nature Adventure
Nature is everywhere, regardless if you live in a big city or a sprawling countryside. Many cities have public parks to ensure their residents have somewhere to enjoy nature without the bustling noise of civilians, public transportation, and commuters. You can also find tree-lined streets with carefully manicured lawns and shrubbery if parks aren’t easily accessible. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, put your phone on “do not disturb” and bask in the glory of fresh air whooshing into your nostrils and soft earth beneath your feet.
2. Take A Hike, Buddy!
Grab your hiking boots, some trail mix, plenty of water, and head out to your nearest hiking trails! The beauty of the great outdoors is often magnified while high, allowing you to appreciate nature like ever before.
Since you probably don’t live at the foot of a mountain, it’s strongly advised to bring vape cartridges or disposable devices with you that you can puff on once you’re there. Combine that with the lazy feeling of floating and basking in the warm sun and you’ll be delighted with this outdoor activity that’s perfect for hot summer days. Just make sure you’re not too high, as this might pose a bit of a safety risk. Swimming with friends while high promises to be even more enjoyable, so grab your floaties and pool noodles ASAP!
4. Indulge in Stargazing
What better way to enjoy the great outdoors while high than looking up at a twinkling night sky? The warm darkness pinned back by twinkling stars can be incredibly therapeutic and quite romantic. One of the most enjoyable side effects of getting high is the full-blown body high. Instead of choosing to melt into your couch, consider finding an outdoor yoga class. Yoga is renowned worldwide for its ability to stretch your muscles, increase endorphin production, and reconnect with nature. Yoga is also a form of exercise that doesn’t require a lot of physical exertion or equipment. Once you learn the basics, feel free to do your own yoga routine in parks, hiking trails, the beach, and another other area that has fresh air and flat ground!
6. Life’s a Beach; Go Play In The Sand!
There’s an undeniable feeling of excitement when it comes to the beach. The salty sea breeze, the cawing of pesky seagulls, the crashing of the waves, and the childlike glee of feeling sand between your toes. Best of all, you have a plethora of activities all bundled together! You can go for a swim, stretch out for tanning on a fluffy towel, build a sandcastle masterpiece, and take a stroll on the shoreline if you need a change of scenery. You don’t even have to go to a gym to workout; you can go for a nice invigorating jog through your neighborhood, rent a pedal boat for some lakefront activity, find an outdoor gym in parks or beaches, or set up a game of basketball with your friends. The feeling of pushing your body through the high can feel incredible, especially to so called “stoner-cisers.” Start off with a moderate activity and see how you feel; you may desire to feel more of a muscle burn or be completely content with low-impact exercises.
8. Treat Yourself To An Outdoor Movie/Picnic
If you’re looking for an outdoor activity that requires very little effort but delivers a memorable experience, you’ll love this home version of a drive-in movie theater. Spread out a thick blanket on the grass and use your phone to watch movies. Better yet, hang up a white sheet and use a projector to watch your favorite flicks and shows in a larger-than-life experience. Popcorn, soda, chips, pizza, and other movie snacks will ensure you have a relaxing movie night without fear of raging munchies!
